30000 VIEWS AND IT'S GONE
So I decided to take a break from YouTube algorithm chasing, keyword searches, focused sub-niche, analytics, yadda yadda, and post something that was just on my mind. You know, something that comes about as a response to thinking? Like many, I saw a posted video of a seemingly horrific crime — an attack of a girl on the metro. That attack itself wasn't surprising, but the fact that a video displayed it in fairly graphic detail, was. Given that it was a white blonde girl and the attacker was a black male, this is the kind of video that is usually suppressed. There are a spate of racial attacks in the last year, Austin Metcalf for one, where we have not seen anything at all. So, given the opportunity to see this attack in its duration, I watched.
What I came away with were simple questions — Why did this video get out, and not just out, but seemingly promoted? Why did this seemingly normal girl have model quality headshots? Why did murals, not seen since George Floyd, magically appear, along with a crypto coin?
I looked at it again. It was problematic. Frame by frame analysis and AI enhancement led me to believe it was staged. I made a video to say this, which gained over 30,000 views in three days, and emotional outrage from the viewers. There were also supporters, people who examined the argument I was making, but mostly it was emotional white people. So emotional that someone got the video banned. Obviously, a contrary view draws more attention, but the whole experience was depressing, because of what it said about people on the right, you know the 'anti-woke' ones.
I am taking a break. I'll have more to say when I come back, whenever that may be.
